Marc Anthony Robinson
Ubuntu Leadership Institute Project Lead
Marc Anthony Robinson is a healer and garden tender, cloaked as an educator and community builder. As Project Lead for Ubuntu Leadership, he supports the holistic development of Black young men. Cultivating spaces where identity, purpose, and brotherhood can take root and flourish.
With over 15 years of experience in education and youth programming, Marc Anthony has dedicated his life’s work to cultivating environments grounded in joy, accountability, cultural identity, and radical love. As an educator in SFUSD, he led African American Achievement and Leadership Initiative (AAALI) classes, centering the brilliance and leadership development of Black students. He also led Camp Akili through The Flourish Agenda, designing and holding radical healing spaces where Black youth could process, dream, and build community rooted in liberation and wellness.
A graduate of Hampton University with a degree in Marketing, Marc Anthony began his career in sales before pivoting toward his true calling in youth development. The relationship building and strategic visioning skills from his early career now support him in helping young Black men find and define their purpose, encouraging them to represent their ancestors with pride while building the legacy that will follow them.
Marc Anthony believes that when the soil is made fertile through structure, love, and collective care, the seeds grow abundantly and nourish communities for generations.
